Cartolina 29 April & 4 May

Wednesday 29 April at 7.30 pm, repeated on Monday 4 May at 10.30 am: In this program Wilma talks with students and teachers from the Mosso school in Italy, in occasion of their recent visit to Christchurch, to search for the family and places of the late Corporal Frank Bowes, who fought and was executed with a group of Partigiani during WW2 in Mosso, and to meet with Frank’s son John Bowes. This old trail started in Italy in 1944 and continues now on both sides of the world. A film on this war episode is being made as a school project.

And here is the rest of it.
