The group comprises Italian, American and New Zealand experts, and has one of its major laboratories at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch.

Earthquakes’ geology: Dr Francesca Ghisetti is a structural geologist, expert in the geological risks in both  Italy and New Zealand. In this programme Francesca explains how earthquakes happen, and everyone can calculate the distance from the epicenter.
