In the first program of the new year, Denis and Wilma talk with Fiona Laryn about her months spent in Monza and her project of becoming a professional drift race pilot. Fiona, on the eve of going back to Italy, explains what a drift race is made of, and how it's becoming an increasingly popular sport. It's also very expensive, so she hopes to attract sponsorships, apparently being the only female pilot in this speciality in Italy. Fiona also talks about looking at Italy as a New Zealander and an Italian at the same time, and about young people here and there. We play songs by Fiorella Mannoia. And... oops... we kept recording also off the interview....
. And here is the rest of it.
