Carlo is about to marry Giulia who is pregnant. Giulia's mother is obsessed about her age, there's Marco who is also on the point of considering marriage and Adriano who hates his wife. Feelings are disclosed, then the mood intensifies and eventually things worsen. Carlo, views matrimony as a final transformation after which you can only be serious or sad, he yields to a last fling thanks to an attractive student. A final pleasant reassurance.

Cartolina 18 & 23 August 2010
Italian singer and composer Marco Beasley formed in 1984 the group Accordone with Guido Morini, specializing in music from the Italian 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. One of the features of a concert by Accordone is that they weave together old music with new music, specially composed by both Marco Beasley and Guido Morini. We play examples of music of both kinds.

Casa Azzurri: During the Soccer World Games, a ‘Casa Azzurri’ has been organized in Christchurch , at Mitchelli’s Café. There fans, both Italian and non-Italian tifosi, of the Italian team The Azzurri have watched with great enthusiasm and even greater pain the games played by Italy . The organizers of Casa Azzurri: Federico Tomasetto, Ewan Mitchell, John Pryor, Marco Casamassima, and Denis Walker talk about their experience, with the due reference to Paul the Octopus. We play “Un'Estate Italiana” di Gianna Nannini, sung by Edoardo Bennato.
