27 August: Made in Italy is a new all-in-Italian radio programme, produced in Italy and made available world-wide, that Dante Society and Plains FM 96.9 have brought to you, every Wednesday at 7.15 to 7.30 pm. We meet the team of Italian journalists behind the programme: who they are, how this idea was borne, how they find all the interviewees from the wide range of fields that they cover. Cartolina 7 & 21 May 2014

Cartolina 7 May and 21 May: Nidi d’Arac is a music group from Salento, the south most part of Apulia. They present century-old folk songs, based on the tradition of the “tarantate”, women bitten by the tarantula, in a modern, almost acoustic style. Their haunting, hypnotic rhythms are unforgettable. The group featured in the last Womad festival.
